(12/22/10) Ready, Philip K., 55, of Van Buren Street died Wednesday at his home. He was the husband of Denise M. (Bergeron) Ready.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Francis A. and Mary L. (Battle) Ready, he had lived in Warwick for the past 15 years. Mr. Ready was a computer operator for the State of Rhode Island at the Enterprise Operations Center in Johnston for 23 years. He was 32nd degree mason and a member of the Free and Accepted Masons St. John Lodge No. 1 Providence and a member of the Scottish Rite âThe Valley of Providence. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served as a Navy Seal.
Besides his wife he leaves 1 son, Lance Corporal Rory S. Ready of Jacksonville, NC,; 1 daughter, Tara S. Ready of Warwick and a brother, Arthur J. Ready of Seekonk.
His funeral will be Tuesday at 9 AM from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick at 10 AM.
