(10/05/11) Cumberland – Joaquim “Jack” Patricio, 83, of Castle Gate Road died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Life Care Center of Attleboro, Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved husband of Joan (Griffin) Patricio. Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Jose and Maria (Cabral) Patricio, he had lived in Cumberland for the past 50 years. Mr. Patricio was the Vice President of Operations for the former Paramount Press, Lincoln for 30 years, retiring in 1987. He was a World War II Navy Veteran, and he was a communicant of St. Aidan’s Church, Cumberland. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Gail A. Moore and her husband, Clay of Attleboro, MA; two sisters, Mary and Maria Patricio, both of Pawtucket; and two grandsons, Russell Moore of Pawtucket and Blake Moore of Attleboro, MA. He was the father of the late Mark A. Patricio and the brother of the late Ernest and Celeste Patricio. His funeral will be held SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8 at 7:45 A.M. from BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 A.M. in St. Aidan’s Church, 1460 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited and may call FRIDAY 4-7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Patricio’s memory to St. Aidan’s Church, 1460 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, RI 02864 would be appreciated.
