(10/05/11) Cumberland, RI â Rev. Jean Russo-Parks, 54, the Pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church, Lincoln, RI, of Barberry Hill Road died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the Philip Hulitar In-Patient Center, Providence, RI. She was the beloved wife of Paul Parks, Jr.
Born in Revere, MA, the beloved daughter of Charles P. and June (Doherty) Russo of Saugus, MA, she had lived in Reading, MA for 10 years before moving to Cumberland 11 years ago.
Jean was the former Pastor of Old South United Methodist Church, Reading, MA for 10 years before becoming the Pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church, Lincoln 11 years ago.
She was a graduate of Simmons College and Andover-Newton Divinity School.
She was an active member of Fore Court, Cumberland.
Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by her beloved twin children, Paul Parks III and Victoria Parks, both of Cumberland, RI; one stepdaughter, Alexandria R. Parks of Houston, TX; her loving sisters and brother, Rosemary McLaughlin of Lloyd Harbor, Long Island, NY, June Richardson of Swampscott, MA and Charles P. Russo, Jr. of Lynnfield, MA; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held MONDAY, OCTOBER 10 at 11 A.M. in Old South United Methodist Church, 6 Salem Street, Reading, MA. There will be a private family burial.
