(12/19/11) Mary C. (Corso) Moore, 91, a lifelong resident of Warwick, passed away on December 16, 2011. She was the wife of the late Harold W. Moore and daughter of the late Carlo Corso and Catherine (Chodi) Pelagalli.
Mary had worked in the change booth at The Penny Arcade at Rocky Point. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed stringing beads. She truly loved the time she spent at the Cornestone Adult Center.
She was the beloved mother of Steven W. Moore and his wife Melissa of Woonsocket, Carol M. Moore of Warwick and the late Joyce A. (Moore) Mann. Loving grandmother of Cathy Wyatt and her husband Daniel and Joyce A. Moore. Cherished great-grandmother of Damian, Logan and Aliester Reed; Mother-in-law of Al Mann of Seekonk. Caring sister of James Corso of Providence, Ida Campollatano of Cranston and the late Joseph, Larry and Josephine Pelagalli, Victoria Izzo and Jennie Corso.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Gregory The Great Church, 360 Cowesett Avenue, Warwick. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours Wednesday 5:00-8:00 pm.
