(03/15/12) REZENDES, MICHELINA \\\"LENA\\\" M., (Ruggieri), 91, formerly of Rehoboth, MA passed away at Kent Hospital Wednesday March 14, 2012. She was the wife of the late Frank Rezendes. Born in Providence a daughter of the late Francesco and Antoinetta (Moise) Ruggieri.
Lena was a secretary for an insurance company, enjoyed traveling, cooking and sewing and was very creative.
She was the sister of Anne Guyette of Coventry and the late Ralph Ruggieri, Santo Ruggieri, Lawrence Ruggieri, Rose Cioffi, Philomena Ciolfi and Mary Scavitti. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral and visitation is Saturday at 8:30 from \"WOODLAWN\" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, Johnston. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Rocco Church 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919 would be appreciated.
