(05/02/12) LAMBERT, Billy Ray, 82, of Wescott Terrace, Providence St., West Warwick, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Thorpe, West Virginia, a son of the late Charles F. and Oma Belle (Bowling) Lambert. He was a resident of West Warwick for most of his life.
Billy Ray was a self-employed automotive mechanic for many years before retiring in 1995. He was a Korean War Navy Veteran, a former member of the West Warwick American Legion, Post 2 and the Phenix Sportsmenâs Club.
He is survived by four daughters, Janet Ventura, Lea Reynolds, Gail Connelly and Levon Petrarca all of West Warwick; a brother, Arnie Lambert in Alabama; a sister, Theresa Lambert in West Virginia, ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Audrey Justice and Harold Lambert.
His funeral service will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 10 am in the HENAULT â GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick. Interment with military honors will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Burlingame Road, West Warwick. Visiting hours, Thursday 4-7 pm.
