(05/04/12) Jeannette (Perreault) Allard, 96, of Warwick passed away Wednesday at Scalabrini Villa. She was the wife of the late Frederic P. Allard. Born in Lowell, MA, she was a daughter of the late H. Victor and Anna (LeBlanc) Perreault.
Mrs. Allard was a Dietitian for Rhode Island Hospital until her retirement in 1985. She was a graduate of Simmons College, class of 1937, a member of P.E.O. Sisterhood and a former member of the R.I. Dietetic Assn.
She was the beloved mother of Peter F. Allard and his wife Judith, William K. Allard and his wife Priscilla, Frederick C. Allard and his wife Suzanne, Susan J. Erinakes and her husband Christos and Victoria D. Turner and her husband Wesley. Loving grandmother of twelve and great-grandmother of twenty. She was the sister of the late Armand and Edward Perreault and Rena Allard.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:30 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will follow in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Sunday 5-8 pm.
