(10/03/12) LAPOINTE, Yvette M. (Boutin), 88, formerly of Providence, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012 at West View Health Care Center.
She was the wife of the late Lucien R. Lapointe. Born in Quebec, Canada, a daughter of the late Omer and Eugenie (Labonte) Boutin.
Mrs. Lapointe was a printer at Bulova Watch Company for 30 years before retiring in 1978.
She is survived by four daughters, Denise Silva and her husband Joseph of West Warwick, Theresa Pimental and her husband Anthony of East Greenwich, Alice Galuska and her husband Eddie of Hernando, FL and Pauline G. Lamantia and her husband David of Smithfield; three sisters, Gertrude Vanasse in CA, Theresa Desrochers of Johnston and Helen Peltier of North Providence; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Robert Boutin and Pauline Peltier
Her funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at 9 a.m. from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Legris Ave., West Warwick. Entombment will follow in Our Risen Christ Mausoleum St. Ann Cemetery.
