(04/12/12) TETREAULT, Rita D. (Demers), 92, formerly of Coventry, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Scandinavian Home in Cranston
She was the wife of the late Roland S. Tetreault. Born in Moosup, CT, a daughter of the late Francois and Clarissa (LaRose) Demers. She resided in the Pawtuxet Valley area since 1938.
Mrs. Tetreault was a former communicant of SS. John and James Parish and a member and past president of itâs Ladies of St. Ann.
She is survived by three sons, Roland L. Tetreault of Cranston, Louis A. Tetreault in Washington and Emile G. Tetreault of Narragansett; two daughters, Aline A. Tetreault of Cranston and Edith Humes in Connecticut; a sister, Agnes Russell in Connecticut; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Cecile Champagne and great grandmother of the late Shawn, Richard and Timothy.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012, at 9 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am in St. John the Baptist Church, Washington St., West Warwick. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday, 4-6 pm.
